Successful show Mastiffs born in the Victorian era
In the early days of dog shows there were no particular rules for the title of champion . So , for the comfort , the first set of rules dating from 1877 are used for designating successful specimens in regards to early show results . It meant that a a male or female had to win three first prizes at the then major shows in order to become a champion .
